Default Finished Scratch Build: Plasma Dart II

As usual, build thread over on TRF.

This was a fun build; painting was a bit of a pain though. Hoping to fly it in the fall.

Had some trouble photographing this one (and my setup sucks) so pics not as good as I had hoped for. Oh well!

Thanks. That was of course the origin for this design, the whole rest of the rocket was pretty much designed around it. Someone suggested I should light it up, which would be impossible at the scale I built it, but definitely feasible if built larger. I actually wish I had built this one click larger, would have made a number of the build details much easier to deal with.

Speaking of which, there's a (roughly) 2x upscale build in progress over on TRF (not by me), based on an earlier iteration of the design. Maybe looks better than my version, I think I'm jealous....
