If you want another one...

http://www.erockets.biz/semroc-flyi...ndromeda-kv-97/

It's out of stock at erockets.biz right now, but if you're patient...

Or if you're not, you can make most of the parts yourself:

Estes may no longer own the rights to the name and trade dress for the model.
Additionally, scifi-ish models often have lower sales volumes and don't have very big production runs.

Same with scale kits. Limited sales.

The Semroc version might be a better option -
They use the thicker walled ST-7 tubes on their Andromeda kit.

The Semroc kit (like most of their offerings) is currently UNavailable unfortunately.

The Andromeda was my first more advanced kit that built way back when, 1977 I guess. The main body tube crumpled on the first launch. I would agree the Semroc version would be the way to go for a flying version, unfortunately I have not seen them in stock for at least a year now.

Hard to imagine Wildman has sold many of those, at $400-550! (Higher price for carbon fiber fins.)

Stickershock sells the decals for $54, which I assume are not included in the kit. (Other sizes available. I think I’d probably scratch-build one, either default size, or a moderate upscale.)
I commend them for the offering of the kit, just way beyond what I would want to spend.

Yes, I know. That makes it even less desirable to me.

For some reason I always believed Semroc picked up the rights to all the vintage Estes/Centuri designs. It may be more complicated than that, but look at the Mars Snooper, Semroc has the original design, Estes an upscale, and Semroc again with possibly an even larger upscale? Doesn’t matter really, as you said if Estes doesn’t think a particular kit can meet sales goals, then if eRockets/Semroc wants to try and produce a LPR kit, it will still most likely burn Estes motors.
