I'll second that. As a member of the timing team I had a lot of close interaction with many of the teams and their managers. No one grumbled (in a language that I understood, or by posture, facial expressions, etc.) about the thrust or strong ejection charges. It looked to me like had mostly adapted their construction and flying techniques to compensate.

Interesting! That's good to know on the scale models. I'm also happy to hear a positive response to the idea of everybody using the same motors!
