Default Holverson Thingiverse files

Here is a link to my Thingiverse files (so far). https://www.thingiverse.com/dholvrsn/designs
They include the laser patterns for the five Holverson Designs kits, some for mini-BGs, bar-nuts, nozzles and nosecones (one nosecone is even for a car! Guess which one?) Somebody could update the HD section of the Ye Olde Rocket Plans to include links to the laser files.

I don't know, but I bet the first four letters spell STUD.

One of the nice things about thingaverse is you can order an item printed from one of the linked services.

The problem is the files have many nosecones lumped into one file so I need to dissect the file, figure out which parts I need, delete the ones I don’t need at the print service and hope I got it right. Is there any way you could break out the nosecone and shoulder (if it is separate) into separate items in thingaverse? It would help those without printers a lot.

Thanks so much for doing the designs! You have the only Centuri nosecones I have found.

Dave, I had one of the commercial printers linked to thingaverse print the Estes Motor Retainer (tab style) and the retainer doesn’t work on my Skywinder. However someone in your comments said it did work for them. On the print I got the internal ring that prevents the motor from passing through the retainer is a little over 1mm too thick, so the retainer can’t seat and turn. The thickness of the internal ring is just over 3mm, I think the retainer would seat if it was 2mm thick, which I think would still be sufficent. I was wondering if this is a printing problem, or is that 3mm thickness in the print file? Reason being, I would try a different print if it’s the print service.
