Default Boyce Aerospace Hobbies Maxi Pershing builders kit

I just noticed this as new at BAH. I’ve gotta get me one!

I'm getting ready to order my Maxi Pershing 1A builder's kit, but I need a little help:

It requires a BT-101 (not included.) Is that the same BT as the 1/100 scale SV booster BT? If it is, then I have one. Also, I'm not sure what I need to get for a LOC 29mm x 8" or a 29mm HW engine mount tube. Is it paper? Is it fiberglass? Is it plastic?

Thanks.

The BT-101 is the 1/100 scale Saturn V main body tube.
As far as the LOC questions, I have no idea, but if I had to guess I would think HW Paper.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

Awesome! That's one less thing I'll have to buy.

Jeff-

This should do you on the 29mm motor mount tube. It’s Semroc regular heavy walled motor mount tubing for 29mm motors. I would assume it is the same basic stuff as LOC tubing for the same application.

I just realized today that my LOC engine tube order included this decal. I'm sure someone out there knows what LGAD means but I don't. Please tell me.

I can think of a few obscene translations for the acronym, but they're probably incorrect.
