That is odd - it opens for me in IE just fine. Sorry Blackshire, you may have mentioned in an earlier post, but what OS are you running? I have Windows 10.

You're welcome. I think this is a Windows XP problem rather than an Internet Explorer problem; both of my ~12 year-old computers run Windows XP (which they pre-date--they came out when Windows 98 and Windows Millennium were current).

S.
Both my Gateway laptop and my Dell desktop computer (which *can* open Google) run Windows XP. I don't use the Dell more often than I have to (for placing online orders, because the laptop can't complete online payments) because the bearings in one of its cooling fans--the "farthest-in" internal one that's hard to get a replacement fan for--sometimes makes ominous noises, so I use that computer sparingly. I have a new Acer Windows 7 desktop computer and an HP printer for it, but because setting it up will require re-arranging my apartment (think "downtown Tokyo size") because I'll need to transfer thousands of messages and files from both old computers onto the new one (having all three computers set up at once will leave little room for me!), I'll leave that project until we have more sunlight here.

Regarding the error I get, below is a copy of it (hopefully it will reproduce properly here):

The fuselage was 3/32, wings 1/16.....

Thank you for confirming the sheet balsa thicknesses. I thought they were as you wrote, but I wasn't 100% sure. Hopefully the new Semroc will re-kit the Mini-Dactyl (they might even still have the files that Carl used to make the laser-cut Mini-Dactyl sheet balsa parts set, which the original Semroc offered).

I'm reposting the following which were lost in yesterday's forum server issues.

For those who might want the 'full smash' of Centuri Mini Dactyl files, below are scans of the instructions (had to post the individual pages, as the full pdf was too large to post) and a scan of the decals. The original decals were peel and stick type (after you cut along the dotted lines).

I have scans of the original balsa sheets if anyone would like those.

In increasing order of magnitude, the "Pterosaur-based glider family" consists of : ( from 1974 to the present )

(1) Micro-Dactyl ( Micro-Maxx )
(2) Mini-Dactyl ( Centuri )
(3) Midi-Dactyl
(4) Dactyl
(5) Maxi-Dactyl
(6) Pterodactyl ( Enerjet )
(7) Pteranodon
(8) Quetzalcoatl ( the real one had a 36ft wingspan )

There are other "Pterosaur" names available for different scales of gliders :
