HBT-1090 Tubing
Does anyone have a package of this size tubing that they would would be willing to sell?
Thanks. |

I don't believe that Estes ever sold "packs" of this kind of tubing. It was the new 1-inch tubing that came with a lot of E2X kits starting sometime in the 90s. That tubing was never sold separately as parts.

Yes, they did actually. In the 1998 Estes catalog (item #303091 on page 46) was the first time I ever saw them offered. Not sure when they stopped offering them. I bought several packs as that is my go-to size for so many projects (now I use Semroc ST-10 which is just different enough not to be compatible). I just used the last tube from my last pack to repair a damaged model and need a couple more. I could scavenge a kit for tubes if I have to but thought someone might have some.

That was written by Tim vM in one of his Apogee newsletters a ways back.

I think I may have a few of the tubes if you’re still looking…

I have a small box of HBT-1090 parts. Tubes, cones, some home-made centering rings, couplers.
Free to whoever will pay shipping. I'll post a photo later if anyone is interested.
