You got a steal !
The Astron Shrike is worth that alone.
He has really decent prices for "buy it now" too.

Not from this seller, but I picked up some long discontinued Estes engine types from ebay this week for less than current prices at Hobby Lobby for 13mm and 18mm engines.

zapmaster on eBay is Matt Steele, I think.

I've been finding some pretty good deals on Q-jets in bulk packs on eBay of late.

It is. I picked up an Enerjet Egg Crate from him last Saturday when he started these recent auctions. It arrived yesterday. He has had some pretty good deals.

In the past, some sellers would put high prices on things as a placeholder for out of stock items so that the listings wouldn't go away, breaking external links and losing search engine rankings. But, eBay now has a way for listings to remain when the item is out of stock.

So, HobbyTown may be using old software or they may have put those prices in as a placeholder until they update them to the actual prices. Large amounts are used as placeholders in that situation because you don't want to accidentally advertise an extremely low price.

Some listings with ridiculously high prices are allegedly used for money laundering or to facilitate credit card fraud. But, that wouldn't be the case with these.
