I had just received two Xarconian Cruisers and had de-boxed them, leaving them on the island in the kitchen. Our rescue puppy (with an onerous chewing problem) decided that the HBT-1090 were just too much to pass up and went through them before I returned. An email to Christine (My dog ate my rocket) resulted in a re-ship of the model. Now some may question the veracity of my story, but I can assure you it is completely true, and I have found an rather unproductive way of turning white Estes tubes brown.

Many thanks to Estes for their prompt service and for not laughing too hard at me.

I inquired about the Mega Mosquito and was told that it was on the list of available rocket, so I chose it. Tonight I checked my e-mail and found an e-mail notifying me of the shipment of the Mega Mosquito, one pack of D12-3s and two packs of D12-5s. Holy carp! I was perfectly fine with "either/or", I sure didn't expect "and". Thank you Estes! This was WAY more than fair!

I launched a Q modeling AGM on an Estes D12-3 and it bit the dust. Are you telling me that if I inform Estes they will fix the rocket, or replace it?

In my experience, what you get will vary. But I'd say you'd get at least a pack of motors for a cato. I'm not trying to start an avalanche of sob story emails to Estes, but a sincere message oughta get ya something.

The rocket is fixed and flying again. I will just store that little tid-bit of information away for a later date. Like I say, you will always find something new, on this forum. Thanks Chief
