Default NARAM pics - Day 6ix (Burnt up and burnt out)

Gotta admit, I'm ready for a break. Todays action was much like the other days; slow at times, crazy at others. I finally managed a few flights, three in all. First was my USS Atlantis Deux on two C6-5's. It continues to be one of my favorites, and I can't wait until this house business is over so I can finish it. Great flight, with a recovery in the "vegetation". When I got to the rocket I found "some guy" already bringing it back my way. I just thought it was someone doing a random good deed, but it turns out to be NAR President Mark Bundick, who complimented me on the rocket and said he chased it down because he wanted to get a look at it. Talk about a thermal up your skirt! I pointed him in the direction of the FlisKits booth where he was spotted buying a mount kit of his own. Apparently Bunny sees some potential in that mount also. My second flight was a side-by-side flight of my Taurus upscale and the Semroc SLS Laser X prototype, mine on a 3xC6-5 and the Laser X on a 4xB6-4. Mine went higher, but the Laser X looked better and was taller. I also FOUND THE ROAD AGAIN on the recovery. (How's that work? This park is a mile square with a one lane path that wanders sporadically through it and I find it 66% OF THE TIME!) Splintered and delaminated a fin, launched a pod and gave the upper body tube a good kink. I gots to gets to work! Flight three was the Goony Der Red Max on a C11-5. Very cool and very easy to find in the veggies. That red paint is great for visibility. After that I RSO'd again, then ran a trophy errand. If you win a trophy, chances are that I touched it.

As promised. I think the two unnamed rockets are OOP kits from Fat Cat Rocketry. They belong to Jerry Krauss, a Pittsburgh flier who has been one of my best customers on the sport range this week, followed closely by Sandman (Gordon Agnello). Both of them build extremely nice rockets and I'd love to see their flight stats for the week.

Correct. The red one is the Galactic Marauder. The blue one is a P.T.S. Shaman.

Thanks for the pics Bill.

The Goony "Constipation" lost the motor tube motor hook and motor block in the cato and melted the chute. It's easily repaired.

Unfortunately my "mini-Sprint" is no more. That was the only rocket I lost at NARAM. She's in the weeds somewhere.

It's really tiny!

I had about 50 flights all week so only one loss is pretty good!

A few cracked fins a few shredded chutes...nothing serious.

Carl Tulanko and I went out that night and he went right to the Space Plane! That guy is spooky! It was 300' further into the field than we first thought!

So yes I did get it back.

My big Constellation flew on 3 D12-5's, By this time I was justy about out of E's
