An alternative way to make custom corrugated wraps?
A Michaels store near me is clearing out their Sizzix Sidekicks for $10.
I had never seen this tool before so here is a brief description. It is essentially a small hand-cranked roller press intended for paper crafting. It comes with a couple of credit card sized pieces of thick plastic. To use it, sandwich a cutting or embossing die along with a piece of paper stock between the plastic and run the stack between the rollers. It may be possible to cut a couple of longer strips of Plexiglass and use them along with a couple of sheets of corrugated styrene to make paper wraps. The only limitation is the width at around 2.5 inches. Of course, "professional" roller presses come in more useful sizes, but not at this price. Bill
