Default Estes Pro Series Doorknob...

Is now available for purchase. I note that the instructions say you can request waterslide decals; apparently stickers come with the kit.

Free shipping at Estes, so good time to buy from them.

The kit includes water slide decals and self-adhesive “chrome” stripes - the limited offer requested decals are for the fin roll pattern on an alternate graphic scheme. I think the facecard scheme is from the sustainer section of a two stage Doorknob - which Estes probably used because it’s a bit more interesting looking.

This is correct -
You can request the blue and white fin decals after the kit is purchased, Estes will send them out to you.
In the blue and white "Sport" color pattern you use the black line wrap decals included in the kit.

The Estes Doorknob build will be next up on my blog, listed below.

I saw this rocket at NARCON. Really impressive. Simple build but great colors, large size.

Attached below is a copy of the painting instructions from the Estes website which explains how to get a copy of the extra decals. Very clever idea by Estes because this means I now want to buy two kits, LOL.

Again, really beautiful rocket.

Just ordered 2 Doorknobs from AC. Part number, est 9720.
Also ordered 2 of the new Terra GLM; part number, est 7292.
I give these numbers out because AC doesn't have them on their site yet. I wrote an email after I spoke to the nice lady about how to go about ordering these. She was great (can't remember her name).
Ordered a few others to get over the free ship threshold.

Easy peasy

Allen,

Thanks. I checked ACSupply today and when I didn't see them figured I would wait. Now I don't have to. Thanks,

Steve
