The new Goblin has a plastic nose cone? I loved the balsa nose cone the vintage one came with.

Yes - plastic nose cone and because they're now somewhat paranoid about stability margin, two pats of clay to stuff in it. I used one.....

GH - that is best a question for Randy Boadway.

Oops, forgot to show the laser cut fins. Semrocs balsa nose is close but not a exact match but good enough. If you want a balsa nose nose, the balsa nose in the Estes Hornet is exact match to the original nose when I compared it.

I got my answer about the Semroc Goblin from Sheryl earlier today.
Looks like we will have both.

She is all built ready for primer. I brushed on 3 coats of Aerogloss balsa sealer.
