Default This was a surprise

In addition to the "jet fighter model rocket" with the missing "pincher" that I bought off Ebay last week, I also picked up a couple of the science teacher's other birds. One looked to be an FSI Dart, which is what initially caught my eye. Well, they arrived today. One is a scratch built spin fin type and the other is an FSI Dart as I expected. The cool part was that they both had motors installed in them. The spin fin bird had an Estes A8-5 of 1976 vintage.

This was in the Dart. Even has a piece of wick installed for me already.

Neither of these motors appeared to be in the rocket for launch purposes since they both have glue and wood pieces on them from where they were once glued to a display stand. They were also in the rockets facing the wrong way. Like I said, just an honest bonus.
Did I mention ?

Not yet. I'm B6-4 bound at the moment, and I'm afraid that the A4-4 would overfly the field.

I'm surprised some a$$hat acting as 'shipment cop' has not chimed in here yet saying how the motors were illegally shipped that NOBODY wants to hear...

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

Yeah, they were, but I don't think there was any intent. They did actually mention them in the auction text, which surprised me when I looked back on it.

Nah, too busy chiding folks for not using Google instead of posting a question here.
