He's not that far away. They could just invite him over and send a car after him. Maybe put in an advertisement photo. That wouldn't hurt sales at all!

My most satisfying Saturn V flights were with 2 cluster D12-3 or 3 cluster D12-3. I always had 3 spare SV's handy and flew one or two flights at every launch with 10 or more people present. Our club had almost 500 people in it and we flew weekly, so those babies got some flights in.
I also flew with FSI F100 (40E48), Enerjet E24, Crown/SSRS E30, and others. The clustered D12 was the crowd pleaser. I always used the Centuri clear plastic fins and sometimes used a Centuri SV rather than Estes. They were dearer. Jerry |

Got word from Christine @ Estes Customer Service that extra plastic parts for the re-issued Saturn - V will NOT be available (says there's not enough being made). Guess I'll have to find some other way to repair my Saturn without Estes' help.......

I'm sure this was said somewhere in the past, but why not buy the new kit, use the plastic parts for repairing your old one, then build the new kit as a Skylab version?

Great idea Fred, if I can find a Saturn - V at Hobby Lobby while they're having a 40% off special. Thanks for the tip!

That's disappointing to hear and answers a couple of earlier questions I posted that went unanswered about how many will be produced this time around and if the Saturn V will stay in the regular line up. Answers: Not many and nope! Randy www.vernarockets.com |

Yes, agreed. I'm going to check with SEMROC and see what the status is of their Apollo Capsule/LES and if that doesn't work out, guess I'll just have to go scratch to rebuild what's left of mine......

wow...they could make a killing selling those CM/LES kits like Centuri used to...think of fantasy scale. I was really hoping they would carry them as a sales item
