Ad looks fine. It would be nice to get a real URL for your business, and at least put some real pictures on all your kits listed on your web page.

I think the ad looks fine.
I second the website comments above.

Did I miss something? Has US Rockets changed its name to Instaship? Not a bad change but that is what the ad looks like.

I dig the component photo, but a picture of the finished kit would be better!
Yes, "INSTASHIP" could be less intrusive. Combine the text with the banner and make it a bit smaller and it would still stand out.

+1 to both points. Jerry .... Use the usrockets.com domain name (or have something simple like usrockets.com/store that redirects to the store). People very rarely type a URL verbatim into the address bar. Most of the time they enter what they remember into the address bar or Google. So, they actually do a search for the web site. A simple URL is easier to recall and more likely get the person to the site if they do a search. Photos are a big issue with small manufacturers. I know from experience that it takes some effort to get good photos (and, of course, you have to have good models to photograph). But, good photos are important. (And, you might "cheat" by using 3D renderings.) |

I would make the InstaShip banner smaller and include pictures of the finished rockets that are in the ad. Also, try to set up and advertise a simpler url like USRockets.com
If you can work out a deal with K'Tesh from TRF, he could make up some really good 3D renderings using OpenRocket.

See, this is why I seek feedback from folks I respect.
K'Tesh hired on request. To Wolfram v. Kiparski I respond we do not require advance payment and we do not promise ship dates but the average shipment goes out in 2-3 days. Average. I remember you from rmr. Last edited by Jerry Irvine : 10-24-2019 at 08:55 PM. |
