I've a reason to build the Astron Farside X...
Look at what was found in the old NARAM 32 swap/trade box.

Have fun with those.
I enjoy launching those still occasionally. A C6-0 will lift a 3-stager in ZERO wind, but if any wind at all, a B14 or C11 is a must. If they would bring back the C5-0, that was almost as good as the B14. One of my most fun flights is a 2-stager on A8-0 to B14-5 or 7 ( or B8-5or 7 ) Slowly lifts off , stages low, then streaks away.

That does sound like it would be fun. I have a few B8-5s on hand. Hmmmmm..... That said, I flew a Beta last weekend 1/2A3-0T to 1/2A3-4T and it flew as you described. That was a fun flight, too.

I used to fly an old beat-up Astron Avenger on the A8-0 to B14-7 combo.
It was hilarious.

I have a few old B14s, mostly boosters, and a couple upper stage. Here is my B14-to-B6-6 flight in January 2020. The B14-0 was an ?Apollo 11? era engine with a datecode July 1969! The upper stage was a ?much newer? B6-6 from 1991.
Look at the flame! This year I will do a two stage on all B14 engines.

The C5-0 should be easy; just no delay/EC on the C5-3 production.
B8 uses exact nozzle and grain profile as C5, just less BP.; should be easy too. I'd get rid of the entire B6 line and replace it with the B8 choices; keep the B4 line and bring back the B4-6.
