Received my half-price Estes Universal Astrocam package today. I was not expecting the paper straps for holding the camera and cradle to the model rocket body. I should have looked at the instructions first: https://estesrockets.com/wp-content...ions/002208.pdf

They’re not paper, they’re Tyvek (or a similar material) ….though they are called “paper” in the instructions. Tyvek is much tougher than paper. The camera is a fairly snug fit in the cradle, so the rubber band is not going to need to do much.
