I wonder what Bill Simon thinks of the B.O.S.S. or if he was involved in bringing it to production. Also, the artwork for the Star Orbiter has the wrong fins....it looks like a Vapor instead. But of course the Star Orbiter and the Vapor are close relatives, differing in fin shape and motor mount size (and livery) only.

Thanks for the notice and the link.

Some discussion about the SO’s fins on TRF and FB - I’m wondering if they’ve rationalized production by using the same fin shape for both Vapor and SO. Which is fine as long as the SO fins remain TTW though with the different motor mount diameter and need to use slotted body tubes that’s a bit problematic for the Vapor. There is precedent though - Olympus and Green Eggs are close kin and they use different style (and shape) fins.

How big is the Super Orbital Transport ??
Hoping BT-60 and BT-55 or LARGER.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

The SOT is BT-55 based. There’s been some speculation that that would make the glider BT-50 based and a candidate for fitment of a Nuevo Astrocam nose cone.

Too small. Barely an upscale just like Super Mars Snooper.
Hope the upcoming Semroc one is as big as the defunct Hawks Hobby super one at BT-60 AND BT-55.

It is easily upscaled from scratch. Build one!

My daughter asked what I wanted for Christmas and I told her an eRockets gift card, so she got me an Estes gift certificate. I cashed in yesterday and the Snooper was one of my picks. I'll let you know when I receive it.

This is more than a little embarrassing - I don’t remember if I bought a SMS yet 🤦‍♂️

Between vacation, the holidays, family stuff, illness…things have been a bit chaotic so no inventory updates, rocket shop is in a bit of disarray and all the decoration tubs need stowed properly. It’s too cold to be productive outside or in the garage so down to the basement I go - if there’s no Snooper box to shelve it’ll be on my first order of 2022 to ACS.
