Default Estes 1275 Kit Signed by Nimoy & Doohan

Hi, folks.....new to the forum today but not rocketry. Figured I would ask here to get opinions on what I should do with this kit. As the title reads, I have a still shrink wrapped Estes 1275 USS Enterprise kit signed by both Leonard Nimoy and James Doohan. The kit was signed at a convention and signatures are spot on. I have had this kit for quite some time now and it is not something that I need to have and probably should go to someone who would really enjoy it and appreciate it. Any suggestions as to where you guys think this item should get exposure? I don't want to put it on eBay....! Thanks for your help/advice in advance.

Good question.

Before you do anything with it I recommend you have a Certificate Of Authenticity created for it. Include everything: dates, times, venue, photos, etc.

Ditto to Jeff's comment. If you have anything in the way of provenance then find it. Given that you have both Nimoy and Doohan (and you can get their signatures verified) you are going to be fine. You might want to reach out to Shatner, Takei, Koenig, and Nichols to sign it and then donate all auction proceeds to charity.
