That worked like a charm!

I have flown a bunch of C12 4s and 6s (these are so addicting) And I estimate 150g would be good for the -4.

Have you ever flown any of the D16’s? I have about four of the 2-packs to try out. I was going to try to cluster some but didn’t know how fast they ignite with the Black Max propellant in clusters? I’m thinking now I probably should have just held out for the D20’s to become available.

I have flown a few, I use an Aerotech interlock with a fairly large 18v battery meant for a leaf blower. I have had a misfire but usually they instantly ignight.

Good to know and thanks. I haven’t tried any of the Q-jets yet but good to hear they usually instantly ignite

I have also lit two with the old low current quest q2g2s when I brought a nearly dead battery that wouldn't light the first fire micros.

The C12/D16 cluster nicely, even when mixed with BP, using stock starters for the Q-Jets, and MJG starters for the Estes motors.

You should experience the same thing with the WL versions.

So 2 questions:

What is the best use of these motors? Looks to my amateur eye a similar use to that of the Estes C5-3? If so, I may have to pick some up to try in my heavier/draggier 18mm rockets.

What is the planned release date?
