Default LEO Space Train scale-bashing

Hello All,

The Estes LEO Space Train kit is actually a quite close-to-scale model of the DARPA/Boeing Phantom Works XS-1 (which Boeing pulled out of in January). This UK Daily Mail article (which contains several images and videos of the XS-1: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/science...e-revealed.html ) shows how similar the Estes kit is to the XS-1. And in this connection:

The "vertically asymmetrical" (when viewed from the side) plastic nose cone--and the plastic rocket nozzle too, in some cases--of the Estes LEO Space Train kit's winged first stage spaceplane could also be used to "scale-bash" (as in Peter Alway's booklet of that title)--that is, to kit-bash--scale, sport scale, semi-scale, and scale-like models of other proposed pre- and post-Space Shuttle vehicle designs, of which there were/are many. ALSO:

Here (see: https://www.pmview.com/spaceodyssey...celvs/index.htm ) is a link to Marcus Lindroos's website which covers these designs; it is titled "INTRODUCTION TO FUTURE LAUNCH VEHICLE PLANS [1963-2001]." Here (see: https://www.pmview.com/spaceodyssey...elvs/sld045.htm and https://www.pmview.com/spaceodyssey...elvs/sld051.htm ) are just a few examples from his website.
