Now for the decals (all one of them.)

Despite being 30 or so years old, the UNITED STATES waterslide decal is surprisingly fresh and is only slightly yellowed. Just as a precaution, I did coat it with liquid decal film before I dipped it.

I'll attach (1) recruiter tonight and the other one tomorrow.

The doweled recruiter is inserted into the holes I punched in the booster. The top dowel is epoxied generously. I don't have that luxury with the bottom dowel because too much protusion on the ID of the booster tube will prevent insertion of the quick-change engine mounts.

For the bottom dowel I used a tiny bit of epoxy and then allowed thin CA to seep into the joint from inside the booster tube. The assembly will remain in this position overnight.

Where's my Scotch?! WOMAN!! WHERE'S MY SCOTCH???!!!

Good night. TBC

Happy birthday, Jeffy!

Thank you first for your service, and also for your eagerness to assist your fellow modelers here.

Hope you have a great birthday!

Thanks guys!

Now the other recruiter is mounted in the same manner as the first one.

It's now time for "The Vixen" to administer my Birthday Foot Rub!

Thanks Bob!

The adhesives of the other Recruiter are now set and I use the tracheotomy scissors to scarf the dowels as close as possible to the inside wall of the booster's BT.

After a quick sanding of the stubs with 320 I verify that one of the (3) engine mounts will indeed clear them and rotate into position---which it does.

Almost done!

May it be laden with a good 15+yr Single Malt. Suggest Lagavulin 16.

Thanks! Actually I'm going with a Laphroaig 18 yr/old single malt that I save for special occasions and is one of only two things that I never share.

It's atrociously expensive-but worth it. It's like drinking jewelry.
