Default Alien Scout Ship

Had an idea (or two) pop in my head and thought I would design a school yard rocket for tumble recovery. Should do OK on a 13mm engine.

I just finished building the final version but haven't balanced it yet. Not even sure it will fly!

Well, I get tired of this farmer growing his corn in my launch field. So, l thought I would build a few I can launch a few blocks down in the school yard.

I left out the details on building, but it shouldn't be to difficult. Just remember to put the cockpit/fin on the correct side. For a better look anyway. I am guessing at this point. But thinking the tube should reach down to the end of the fins, and the tail of the engine about 1/8 inch below that.

Which means balance is either a good guess or don't glue the tube in until it is right.

Here is a picture of the finished rocket. It should help anyone building it.

Thanks! I got the idea from looking at the cardstock cockpits I made. One of them looked like a Star Trek type engine nacelle.

These are great designs. Thanks for sharing them. Everytime I see you have posted I go to see if there's a drawing. Thanks again.

Thanks again. They aren't perfect though. Sometimes I get an idea in my head and need to get it out in a hurry. If you build one, let me know if something needs fixed.

I decided the Earth ship was a little boring and updated it a little.
