Assuming the kit comes in a plastic bag, you should throw in the rubber band for free.

Rubber band sold separately.

Oh Friend, but I stabbed a ping pong ball with a rocket.

(The comment about the cell phone is just how I like to twist puns around. I was saying we could be two of kind. Like my Mom always said, if you pick at your food it will never heal.)

I asked about the kit components because it seems to me a kit manufacturer could make all your many oddball kits if they stocked up on face cards, instructions, decals, and sourced the parts for manufacture. I guess you tried that with Estes and Apogee for a while but since the kits are not readily available, you seem to lack a well capitalized manufacturing licensee willing to stick with the concept.

Yup, doesn't count if they're on the inside.

After NAR sanctioned contests we used to run "Egg Toss" which is an egg capsule with the nose cone off. An egg probably is usable as a altitude determination tool, but since ping pong balls are very carefully engineered for consistent aerodynamic performance, they are the reference unit.

Cutting ping pong balls is probably either a crime or a party foul, but that doesn't stop the outside the box thinkers.

That said, putting a PPB on top of an equivalent Egg Toss rocket sized to PPB is an interesting experiment in proximate audience model rocketry.

Tech Jerry

I've flown rockets indoors, have you? Football stadiums don't count. A house. A shop.

Does an accidental launch in the bedroom at 11 years old count?
