US Rockets
Whoa! I knew of this company but never saw anything from them for sale before. Too bad the rest of the rocket isn't there. Just the whoosh generators alone would be cool to have though.

I take it that this is not the same company as the one run by "HE WHOSE NAME SHALL NOT BE SPOKEN!"

Right after I put in a bid. I really wanted to burn one of those on the stand.

Carl, Firing an US Rockets motor in a stand is the only safe way to use it. At AeroTech, one US Rockets F or G motor was sectioned length-wise. The propellant had so many voids in it a piece of Swiss cheese was more solid. Bob |

Some of Kosdon's stuff used to be that way, but IIRC, it was on purpose. Total impulse is much lower because there is less propellant, but burn rate is a lot faster. With the different burn rate, the nozzle has to be bigger to prevent over pressurization. |

Swiss Cheese ????????
And the problem is What ???????? I happen to like Swiss Cheese....mite be neat in an AP propellant.....a sort of random low/hi/low/hi surging thrust profile.
