The Viper flew today on a D12-5. It flew arrow straight, I couldn't have asked for a more perfect flight.

I didn't get any flight pics, but a parent of one of our Junior club members has a video of it they are supposed to send me.

I've looked at Estes BSG Vipers (and clones/upscales) for so many years that when I occasionally see the "real ones" on the old show, they don't look right to me. It should be the other way around!

Yours looks great. Hopefully the video will be good.

Does anyone know what the length of the PNC-50SV nose cone (not including the shoulder) from the original Colonial Viper kit after you cut the tip off?

Here's a measurement Sandman did for the Viper nose cone. This might help you, I hope.

I completely forgot about that!

But, I did recently finish mine.

I had this kit but it's been a long time since I built it. If Jack does a 3D file I may do another one.
