The Olympus marks only the second use of a BT-65 sized tube from Estes.
The only other time was the clear payload section (PST-65) on the original Astron Scrambler that was last catalogued in 1977.
Estes used to offer two different Balsa cones to fit the PST-65. The Scrambler one and a shorter/stubbier cone.

1) I don't need any more rockets, I've got bins full.

2) Man, that looks neat!

Does the Olympus have wood or plastic fins?

The sticker reminds me of the Colossus, except now its a goofy Zeus rather than He-Man.

The Green Eggs payloader bulk-pack model also uses 1.8" diameter/BT-65 body tube.

I wonder if the NC & bulkhead are molded in that color? It'll be nice to have a BT-65 clear payload kit available. (other than the Semroc Scrambler, of course)

Wow, that Zeus decal is an extra special grade of cheesy - I love it!! Doing a quick eyeball comparison between the Olympus and the Green Eggs Iíd say the nose cones are different, GE looks shorter, and the Olympus payload section appears shorter. The Olympus bulkhead looks plastic but itís hard to see for sure. All in all Iíll be picking one up at my local HL - just simpler than finding 11 buddies to split a bulk pack of Green Eggs with

I like it. It's a little confusing on that page....the headline says 29mm motors...but the description of the model says it flies on Ds and Es, which means (to me, anyway) 24mm motors. The verbiage also says it has through the wall fins. I don't know if that means wood or plastic.

I will certainly be getting one from HL when they appear, even though I have far more kits than I will ever build already on hand.
