I did get to see Ron fly a Mother Lode at LDRS-8 on three L750 Vulcan motors. Yeah, those were the big boy toys back then ....

That was kind of a landmark flight for its time. I was not at that LDRS, but remember seeing it on video less than a year later. It seemed audacious at the time to fly a rocket that large! Wouldn’t be many years later though that folks were bringing all manner of beasts to LDRS to fly, but that Mother Load flight I think was one of the first to start that trend.

Have you reached out to LOC about doing a one-off? All the items you need are available on their site except the 3x54mm mount in a 5.5" ring. Since they laser cut everything now, they might be able to make a few rings for you.
