Same, use that quote a lot myself! The movie is hilarious. Plus, Teri Garr is in it!

The quote I am apt to use from Groundhog Day is any time after having a very large meal, knowing everyone is pretty much full to bursting, and I'll blurt out "Hey, who could go for some flap jacks?!!". For those who know the line, it generally results in a few pretty good laughs.

In the movie, the line is actually uttered by one of the local hayseeds Murray is out drinking with (and generally enjoying all sorts of fatalistic behaviors because he knows, regardless of what he does, it's all gonna start back over at 6:00am the next morning). This guy is pretty well plastered, and like many folks in that condition decides it's pretty much time for a trip to the local iHop or equivalent.

But in either case, stomach full of food or alcohol, the line is pretty funny.

My other favorite line is when when Murray is on the phone trying to get something straightened out with some arrangements of some kind when he says something like "What do you mean wait until tomorrow! There might not be a tomorrow...there wasn't one today!".

My favorite ad was the Mars water.

Some of my "bible-thumping" neighbors were whining about the halftime show. Don't like it--change the channel! Sheesh! C'mon--what were you expecting from two hot Latinas--PG?

"The Vixen" and I thought the halftime show was very hot and very entertaining. Shakira is on my list of "five allowables". I'll not explain what that means. Most guys can either figure it out or they have their own list of "five allowables".

My favorite ads(s) were the series where the guy wanted to soak his stained shirt during the Super Bowl before the stain sets. The kicker was when he shows up with a clean shirt at the old folks home and sees his wife, who promptly spills more food on his shirt. NOOOOO!!!
(BTW that was for Tide pods).

Thanks for confirming my observations in post #13 Sunday night during the Super Bowl. The rocket liftoff clip in the commercial was pretty brief.
