Nice 1340 !
I couldn't imagine flying one on a F67 or G anything and recovering it from anything less than a huge sod farm or dry lake bed.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

I have a spare BT60 sized Gemini capsule. May have to build that Orbital Laboratory as well.

Thanks!

I have trouble tracking my Star Orbiter on an F15, so no need to press my luck with this one.

Only build I have is a repair from last Fall. Cat went on a rampage and fell on it, snapping 2 fins in half.

Comrades:

Here's a picture.

The Interceptor is a very, long-term eBay rescue. I think I got it 2011. I finally got tip tanks from two different subsequent eBay rescue batches. I'm going to do something other that 60's Air Force markings (shoulda been FS 16473 ADC Gray anyway) so I've made all of the detail panels using thin cardstock and a couple of hole punches. Like most rescues, it needs recovery parts.

The Alpha is a very recent eBay buy and came as part of a batch of 16 rockets from the mid-70's. Got a new fin, added kevlar and rebuilt the chute. Finish paint tomorrow.

The 1/10 Paiute booster has been a struggle only because I was trying to make it super light for tumble recovery. Almost done.

I found a FlisKits Tumbleweed last night in my stash. It came from my days as an EMRR reviewer. When I got it the first thing I noticed was how tiny the whole thing was. Even now I'm not sure I can get my hands to cooperate for that kind of detail work.

At NARAM 43, before I really got started making nose cones, I purchased a BT-80 Gemini capsule from BMS.

Maybe an upscale Orbital Transport Laboratory?

In the meantime here is a piece of medical humor from member Gus.

He's an ER doc so it's OK.

Happy Easter!

Very amazing dogs.

He's getting old (he's about 9), so he relaxes in the house. He's asleep by my feet right now. Once I start moving, he's right on my heels. When you have a Belgian, you have no privacy. When we go outside, he becomes a perpetual motion machine.
