According to Gary’s interview with Daniel the Rocket N00b on the Model Rocket Show podcast the new Enerjet line is ready except for the graphic design of the labels. And he said they’ve matched the performance and visuals of the original motors (different propellant of course) as close as possible. So it looks like we’ll be able to “teleport” rockets off the pad in the near future. I have some lighter weight rockets that should really go loaded with a neo-Enerjet - should be a hoot!

I love the number of different propellants available today. I wonder if the Enerjet clone propellant Gary wants to release is Aerotech classic, Gary's first, originally unnamed, Aerotech propellant?

What part of town were you in? We had a couple of younger kids in our circle. I remember an eight year old that built a Saturn IB; don't remember his name.

We lived on Carlton Terrace. My dad and I flew a few times at the UGA campus.
I believe it was Doug Lester who showed me the catalog.

We moved back to our home town in Alabama in late '69 early '70.

Wild. My aunt was on Greenwood (next street down) in '69 (that's where I saw the moon landing, on her color tv), then she moved over to Carlton Terrace the next year. A lot of our later group (post 1970) came from the Five Points area. If you hadn't moved, you'd probably have been one of us!

Doug Lester does sound a little familiar. He would have been your age?

We watched that Moon shot at our neighbor's the McBrides; they had color t.v.

Somewhere I may have a plastic model kit from Miller's Discount. Bought balsa etc. from
Bob's News Stand.

Yep, Miller's was the best (until they changed to Gibson's, and then they were still ok, until they changed again to Big G). That's where I got all my plastic models.

I got my second Mars Lander from Bob's. Before I got in to rocketry, I bought a few control line kits and a couple of Cox .049 engines from them. Oddly enough I don't think he ever had Model Rocketry Magazine. I got that at Barnett's news stand around the corner.
