Default Redstone Tower

Wait ! That’s harder than the work. Still, so far...All Systems are Go.

Just got to finish the tower structure. Perfect triangle, means ok job. It’s not as hard to build as many think. ( tho I did use some irregular words) ! Just Go Slow. Anyway, this is my progress as of now. It’s like the "ole building a bridge from both sides" thing, hoping they’ll join in the middle. I Had to stop to address other things,,, and rest. Still,, alls looking good. Ready to paint the BT and fins,, maybe tonight,,, hopefully a pic in next session. Are you looking, CHAS ??
Redstone is white....
A dowel fit perfectly on my electric fingernail file, so a 30 second run with a sanding block netted me a quick Jettison Motor Nozzle. Perhaps I should try this on my fingernails ! *******
Jettison nozzle in place,,, a bit of extra glue for strength, tho it’s pushed inside about 1/4”. Glue will also make for a smoother finish. Hey, I’m getting close to being Done here ! *******
Painted the tower & escape motor......
Painted body , tower. Needs final touch up and decals. OH NO,,, I tested a small section and they Disintetgrated ! But I sprayed them with Decal bonder and the other test pieces worked. Gotta let it rest and dry. Still looking good,,, pray for those DECALS !,,,,,Chas ?!......... ( I put test piece on the Alpha I’m working on, did good. On left is piece that fell apart......)

Looks great.

LOL, not me. It's an ice hockey slice and dice. Though I probably would give it a shot and see if I could keep it closed before wasting time and money on stitches.

....all that intricate tower work and he comments on my mat. ...hmmm.
It’s ok jeffyjeep,, wish I had a dollar for every kit I ever built on that thing ! Just don’t have the heart to replace it. Thanks for your comment. I did get to paint the Redstone white yesterday. Slow progress, but that comes with getting old.
Chas, the tube shows lines from that clear , but won’t be a biggie. Certainly a much better job than my first at age 11 ! Pic on other post.....
