I like that old logo. I wish the Estes C5 reboot had the identical old logo.

Yeah, same here. It was a clever logo. But wow, never thought we’d see the Super-C back, so just happy to see that. And hey, Aerotech has revived the Enerjet name/logo and nearly five years ago the 1/45th Little Joe II was re-issued and now a new re-issue of the long gone 1/100 Saturn 1b! Except for this d.a.m.n. pandemic, it is good times! Earl

We are definitely getting lots of great kits/motors now.
This really is the "second golden age" of hobby rocketry. If you include HPR, we have far more motors now than back in the 60s/70s. I was a Senior in High School in 1988 and got ahold of a motor list that included all the way up to J Motors and was amazed. The biggest thing I had ever seen was an Enerjet F67 and knew G motors existed in a "gray area" then. Had no inkling that larger motors existed. Shortly after that I found out my local hobby shop handled "gray area" motors of G thru J class.

Yeah, it is fun to remember the old days and the days of our youth; those will always be special times for each of us and I would not trade those memories for anything. But, technology advances, products change and improve, there are new ways of doing things, and new products. While certain products of the past will always have an 'iconic' stature to them - and rightly so -- there are a number of models and motors that are just as good if not better than the 'old' days. And if you want to build and fly a 1/50th scale or 1/33 scale Saturn V these days, you can!! Fifty years ago? No, not so much. One can do sooooo much more in rocketry today if they are so inclined. As the song says "These ARE the good old days". Earl
