I do wish I could buy both the model and the conversion kit straight from Spacemonkeys...

Noticed about the only new interesting kit is the upscaled Mars Snooper.
I always thought the Mars Snooper II was more interesting looking.

The Mini-A Heli is the one I'll miss, good thing I stocked up when they were half-price from Estes. This is a great kit for NRC, and reasonably competitive, even on 1/4A. NRC fliers, get yours while you can!

For new ones, the Mars Snooper looks great, and the size is just fine by me. I wonder how the cooling fin tail cone will be constructed? The Antar looks nice too.

Scott, thanks for maintaining the list, it's fun to see how long some kits stayed in production. And I built my first Alpha just last year (a Yellow Hang-Tag version). Still haven't built an Alpha III.

You aren't missing much not building an Alpha or Alpha III.
I don't understand the fascination with those. They don't get any more 3FNC boring than that.
I built ONE Alpha in around 1985 as it was FREE. Fire-And-Forget launched in around 1990 on an 18mm D.
I built one and only Alpha III in around 2012 with my better half's 7 year old daughter.
She liked the #2 Skywriter kit much more.

Thank Don Altschwager. I hadn't updated it since 2008. He's been keeping it going on his end. I just recently got his files to update the list on YORS.

Agreed. It works very well. I'll need to grab a couple if I can on the next AC Supply order.

Looks like the Neon Tiger is gone because the Hobby Lobby exclusive Solo is now a regular Estes kit. Same kit, different colors.

If the past means anything, we should be watching for another Estes clearance sale soon. I guarantee I won't buy a Star Trooper.
