Front Row (L-R): Jim Barrowman, Alexander Mitiuriev (???; not sure about this; he was a Russian World Champ spacemodeler unknown to me personally), John Langford, Trip Barber, Taras Tataryn, Bill Stine, “Ol’” Ed Pearson, Craig Kuhn.

Back Row, Dr. Bob Kreutz, Bob Biedron, Guppy Youngren, Fritz Gnass, Mark Bundick, Terry Lee, Peter Cook.

I know he was in his late 40's by the time he came to Model Rocketry. Not that late 40's is old; it's young to me now that I'm 65!

Does anybody know anything about his military career? I assume his military service was in the Army?

I worked for Howard for a time at CMR in the mid to late 70's so I got to here his war stories, Yes he was an engineer for the Army and served time In Korea during the Korean Way. He was also stationed at Ft. Belvoir, which is how he ended up in Alexandria, VA
