Mark,

That actually sounds like it would be glorious! And yes, quite the music program.

From a youngster I have always liked the skirling of the pipes. To me it's much better than that heavy metal crud.

I like both the Bagpipes AND Heavy Metal.

What I cannot stand is Banjo twanging or Accordion MuSICK. Those should be outlawed for Noise POLLUTION.
Most Country/Western and Bluegrass muSICK is less tolerable than fingernails on a blackboard.

Coincidentally, my high school (Howell High School, Howell, MI) mascot and sports teams name was The Highlanders. It probably still is since I don’t see any WAY the name could be offensive to anyBODY.

Howell is still the Highlanders.
They are just a bit south of my hometown Fenton, home of the Tigers.
Somehow, some mamby-pamby will be finding our mascot as "exploitive" of the Tiger 🐯 population, somewhere.

No matter how they might defang that Tiger, it cannot be as bad as Fort Collins High School. Since the early 1900s, they have been known as the Lambkins! Colorado State University are known as the Rams, at least showing a modicum of masculinity. Oh ... not very woke of me.

Perhaps if you are called a Lambkin, it makes you tougher.
