Default Unknown bands and their music.

Unknown bands and their music.

I have found some unknown bands and their music.
Here are two.
Foxes and Fossils.
The Petersons.
Look them up.
You won't be disappointed.

I’ve listened to some of the Foxes and Fosslls stuff on YouTube; I recall covers of a Beach Boys tune and a Mamas and Papas tune. It is always hard to ‘measure up’ on iconic songs like some of those, but their harmonies were pretty good.

There's three "little known" ( what I tell my best pal from HS are "non existent" just to Agitate him ) bands that are really decent:
Uriah Heep
Rainbow
Triumph

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

These are not little known bands to me. I have all three represented in my vinyl collection.

Triumph was a Erie County field house favorite back in the day. I have seen them in concert three times.

Being centrally located between Cleveland / Pittsburgh / Buffalo we drew many national acts passing through. Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Skynyrd, Van Halen and many more. First come first serve mad rush to get a good spot seating.

Compared to the big bands you list below, they are LITTLE KNOWN to most of the country.

While some seem to enjoy Vinyl (for what reason I'll never accept) NOTHING beats infinite repeatability of clean digital recording.

That said, I do own an original near-mint copy of The Beatles "White" album which is quite valuable. Got it cheap too when many were selling off vinyl. Joanna and I have an original Rock-Ola 45rpm Vinyl Jukebox stuffed with vintage 70's/80's classics. It will NEVER be converted to CD. It sits next to the Pinball Machine, Slot Machine, United Shuffle-Alley Shuffleboard Bowling machine, and vintage Video Games in our basement game-room which looks like a small 80's vintage arcade. Lots of Neon signs/clocks too.

Here are some West Coast Bands from the 1980's that that most people don't know:
Roy Loney and the Flamin Groovies / Phantom Movers.
The KINGBEES
Both of these bands were a head of the Grunge Band era.
Both had some very good songs but did not make it on the national level.

If I have time, I'll take some pics tonight. The Williams Pinball is currently in the shop. I'm currently having a "Multi Williams" video game being built in a vintage Williams Stargate chassis/machine.

Grunge bands (Seattle sound) in any way, shape, or form SUCK.
Only things worse are country/western, rap, and accordion/banjo CRAP.

Ottumwa Iowa, huh ? Home of Cpl. Walter "Radar" O'Reilly.
I gotta say though I have been to Iowa once, and that was enough for me. Too many farms and too few lakes...
