Thanks for confirming with Randy … as soon as these are restocked I’m getting one!
I noticed the diameter is also updated on the site

Looking forward to this. I have purchased at least two (sometimes three) of every SLS / Pro series kit Semroc has released except for the SLS Brighton and the SLS Laser-X. I am looking forward to this and will support Randy on future Pro releases.

Steve-
Same here !
I have 2 of all the SLS kits except the Brighton and Laser-X.
Had no interest in either of those.
I just can't justify $100 for this one though.

Funny, the SLS Brighton and SLS Laser-X are the only two SLS kits I have. Most were no longer available when I first started ordering from Semroc. I missed out on some great kits.

I got the Brighton (any idea where that name came from? — its an upscaled Estes Ranger) for $39 on eBay years ago. Its last list price was $99, I think. It has a TON of parts — all kinds of interchangeable motor mounts.

The SLS Laser-X I got at a rocket swap meet for $40.

For $39, I'd be interested in the Brighton too.
All those but the Brighton and Laser-X are clones of early Centuri large kits.
Jaguar, Scorpion, Explorer, Hustler, Lil Hustler, and Aero Dart.

The Semroc Scorpion showing up on ebay looooooong ago got me back interested in the hobby and was my first entry as a BAR. Flew it MANY times.

I never got the Brighton or Laser-X either. But you are right on the Brighton: looking at the instruction sheet, that thing has a TON of parts for all the various different motor mounts!

The eRockets/Semroc KS-5 Pro Arcas went out of stock recently - wonder if they’re planning on replenishing that one or moving on, it’s been around awhile…they did update that kit with a printed tail cone.

That SLS Sky Hook was an SLS wannabe. At 1.34” in diameter, it was basically a heavy wall BT-55 rocket (it used the Semroc LT-125 tubing —1.25” ID, 1.34” OD).

Now this is a Sky Hook worthy of being an SLS.

Estes 2.5” tube, its a bashed Panavia. Next to it is a Semroc Sky Hook II, a slight upscale with an ST-10 (~ 1”) tube. I am still undecided on putting a name decal on it, or the classic “barber pole” black stripe.

I have the SLS 1/2 Scale Arcas.
Flew it once in my previous BACK YARD on a H128. Used a Porta-Pad-E with a 4' stainless 1/4" rod with an old Astron Launch controller with 30' leads. Safe enuff. Way less power than a cluster of two G80's, which NAR says you can launch as LPR with a 30' lead-length controller.
Had much less Rodd-Whipp than expected.
Got it back no problem. Directly bordering a 500 acre soybean farm helped.

There was a SLS Sky Hook. No interest in that one either. It wasn't a Centuri classic.
I wish Carl would have gotten to offer the Enerjet Athena, '72 Enerjet Aero Dart, Enerjet Nike Smoke, and Enerjet Egg Crate. I'll always treasure the only existing Enerjet Athena prototype kit Carl sent to me. Will never build nor sell. I truly rate that one as priceless. Would not trade for a complete collection of sealed and boxed original Enerjet kits. Only ONE of these exists or ever will from Carl.
