Well, this is a bit over the top. I personally do not ship motors because I have no intention of answering for it. However, eBay chooses to turn a blind eye to their own regulations for the sake of profit and, as long as no harm is done, that is on them. If they get snagged, they will simply let it roll off their back, so to speak. They are large enough to not have to worry about that. As for the "end of rocketry as we know it", well, since motor do not spontaneously ignite, I am not concerned. Oh, and this is my opinion, unlike mu comment on categories (for those who prefer fact to conjecture).

It was back up yesterday. Must have been a glitch or maintenance.

Really wasn't aware of ANY model rocket motor shipping "mishaps," let alone any involving deaths. Would you please provide the details. Thanks. |

The ONLY incident I'm aware of were those "oxygen generators" on that ValuJet flight in the 90's.
Absolutely NOTHING involving rocket motor shipping that justifies the ridiculous shipping regs. I couldn't give a rat's butt if sellers are "certified" to ship either.

I imagine you are shocked, but the truth is no one assumed incorrectly and it was not a glitch that went away. All rocketry listings are still a sub category of the spacecraft category. Nothing has changed. None of the original rocketry have (or had) disappeared. Everything is the same with exception of the list of categories and how they are organized. Sorry to disappoint.
