BTW, knowing Centuri's propensity to leave their kits' paint/decal schemes so open ended and different from catalog pics, I wouldn't be surprised if the plans gave you the option of 3 or 4 per stage.

Yes. See post 3. T-Bird was released in 1965.

1. An airframe tube,
2. An engine block glue to the airframe so the nozzle end of the engine is flush with the end of the airframe,
3. Topped off with the staging coupler.
If the Aero-Dyne had the same construction as other Centuri staged model rockets (witht eh exception of the Black Widow) this arrangement suggests a booster length of 3-inches.

Interesting project.

Back then, the external coupler did not have the vent holes per the "Passport" coupler (covered in Post 14 above). Centuri intro'd that aspect of the coupler around 70-71. So for the Aero-Dyne, it would be a 'solid' sleeve coupler with no vent holes, if one were being totally true to the original, which may or may not be important.

Well, there is *that*! But, I don’t believe I’d know a single solitary thing about that....

Three on each stage, because it looks that way to me.
