I like flying full-F single use motors - which I can't imagine are very popular because they are expensive motors and also because of the hazmat charges.

I have spoken with Gary Rosenfield about this over the past year.

My understanding is that AeroTech is looking to cut back on the number of different HPR motors it produces. In some cases a few of these motors will only be offered once a year to dealers who have to place a minimum order for each type.

Kind of like what Bill Saindon (BMS) did/does? That's not so bad.

These pics were taken by Gary Rosenfield from Aerotech and posted on Facebook. I cropped them to make uploading easier. It looks like the SpaceX Dragon will be RTF and judging by the quality of the box, be expensive enough that most rocketeers will complain.

Yeah, that is a pricey looking box.

SpaceX seems to like their fairly stark-looking black boxes with white print on them. That's not terribly unlike what the boxes my Starlink and some accessories came in, though without the Estes logo, of course.

I wonder if there will be a satellite-launcher version of the F9 as well as the one with the Dragon II on it.

Definitely looks "pricey" . . . If anybody "has to have one", better buy quick, because I don't think they will be on the market long.

SOT is a little late going by the magazine ads, but that's ok because I'm tickled that these three are mentioned! I'm curious about the Bill Simon Signature Series and the possible reissues that will come. I'd only be interested in the Falcon-9 if it was an affordable kit, vs expensive and heavy RTF.

I'm behind on Peter's books. I need to catch up.

Did ESTES say anything about the "E60's" ?
