Default New pup adoption

Just picked up a new addition to our family.
Lucy's little sister, Ruby who turns 5 today.
Boston Terrier with same parents as Lucy who is almost 8.
Unfortunately our Lucy is in kidney failure from getting Leptospirosis 3 years ago.
Ruby immediately caused an increase in energy out of Lucy.

Good luck with the new addition. They really do become a part of the family.

They sure do.
Wouldn't have it any other way.
If your 4-legged pals can't fully be part of the family, it's not fair to them.
She already loves the meal plan. Same as us as long as safe for them; no grapes, no onions, no chocolate, no caffeine, and specific to Boston Terriers, no Macadamia nuts.

We just laid to rest our old lady Trixie. 17 some odd years of companionship. My wife use to complain about having to walk the dogs. Last night she thanked me for making her do it as now she has so many memories of walking Trixie and the joys it brought.

May your new friend bring unseen joys and happiness in the coming years.

After about $15,000 in vet bills over 8 years, we had to have Lucy put down on 8/2/22.
Second saddest day of my life, but she was worth every penny spent.
She lost control of almost all her functions and would not eat/drink on her own.
Best pal I ever had.

Too bad, GH. Always tough to lose a pet that you love. I lost an old cat this summer (Thumper) who was just starting into his 20th year. He was such a good boy, and I won't forget him. I'm sure you have similar feelings.

GH,

I'm so very sorry to hear this about Lucy.

Dogs are one of the very best things in life.

Again, so sorry for your loss.

Steve
