How about NASA? Kill it and rebuild it?

Hydrogen power is a big net loss as well. Right now battery powered vehicles are about 3x more efficient than fuel cells, so you'd be pumping 3x the pollutants into the air to generate the electricity needed for the same net travel energy. It takes some digging to find it because all the radical greenies want to keep it on the table. On top of that, it requires precious metal catalysts that don't grow on trees.

I've been saying this for years. A good mix of hydro, fossil (including scrubbed coal) and nuclear, along with lesser amounts of wind and solar (now that solar cells have finally made the break even point), are all needed for the next several decades. To meet increased demands, scrubbed fossil and nuclear are all that we can really increase and depend on. We've pretty much dammed up all we can without ruining stream ecosystems completely, and we can't depend on wind and solar for anything more than supplemental power, even with technology advancements. We can't control the weather.

This option looks promising.

I cannot imagine letting that Z-1 900 engine loose mounted to this wheelchair chassis.
This was a unreal power plant on the 400 Lb. Z-1 Motor Cycle.
I would not ride this wheelchair, you would probably end up in a wheelchair for the rest of your life.
