I stopped at the new Hobby Lobby in Tukwila on the way home from Sixty Acres today (and having flown my Tazz twice — one data set here: https://flightsketch.com/flights/3785/)

Anyway, they had three Tazz kits, on two different hooks. Two of them were marked down the $7.99. The other one wasn't. Guess which one is still in the store....

Bernard, see if someone at your Hobby Lobby will check. I found a guy in the Clearance section, and asked him if it was up to individual stores to put items on clearance. He said no, they get instructions from HQ. He volunteered to check, came back with pricing gun, and marked them all to $7.99. Being nice, I only bought two. But I may go back.

He said the memo told them to put them clearance on 9/1.

OK … I missed the obvious … but it could serve as a reminder in case they were not willing to mark down that third Tazz ….

I need to quit using my phone for YORF. Like I am now …

Yeah, a phone is not the ideal way to be here. I’m most often on via an iPad Pro with keyboard (as I am now).

Since the body tube is slotted, I don’t think a Tazz kit is a good general parts donor, so I don’t think I’ll be going back to my more local store (where they had eight of them, but not yet marked down when I was last in) to go get more of them. I might….but I now have a flyer and three in the kit stash. That’s probably enough.
