Lovely work as usual!

I have the same razor saw; great tool.

p.s. if you would say hi to Rod for me, he calls me "Tex".

Many thanks,

Brilliant work, John. Thank you for bringging up an old memory. While stationed at Wright-Patterson AFB in 1974, I almost bought one of these kits at Throckmortons. Don't recall the price, but as a newly promoted Sergeant with a pregnant wife, I decided that "it will always be available". I was wrong and wish that I had gotten the kit.
Your work continues to impress.

Chas

Chas;

Thanks for the kind words. The tricky thing with this one was not having that decal sheet.

I started to bid on that too, but ended up going with another of his auctions. A BT-30 based mini-brute is pretty neat.

I bought a Mini-Brute Hornet when it was released.
I found it strange that the payload tube was BT-30 but the main body tube was BT-20 (Or was it the other way around).

I still have the model. I will have to find it and look it over.
I am sure a 're-finishing' would be required.

Actually BOTH are BT-30. The brown one is the then, newer, Spiral wound version, while the Ivory one is the older, traditional Parallel wound one. This one was leftover tubing from another BT-30 kit, like in the Sprite. Just Estes' way of using up old stock like they did in many other kits.,.,., FYI……
