Thanks. I cut the decals on our Cricut using the decal scan from JimZ's plan. Had some metallic black and liked the look of it.

Thank you Steve, and you are right, I will be happy to discuss my terminology with anyone who is interested. First, however, regarding the fins, there seems to be an anomaly in the photographs. I will start by saying I never owned one of these kits back in the day, but the sustainer fins and the booster fins are approximately the same shape. I just checked. However, I do not promise perfection.

Regarding condition, let me offer a bit of background. The gentleman I got these from was 86 years old living in Knightdale, NC. The original rockets were extensively flown and do indeed show some wear. He was selling them because he was moving to FL to live with his son. He had a "creative" way of building, and more so, repairing his rockets. I am not in the habit of selling rockets that are not in very good condition, but I am honoring his wishes as best I can. I probably have 100 plus rocket that I will not list until they get at least some repair. I use terms that are subjective and relative intentionally. These are very old rockets and their condition, when considering their age and use, is IMO better than those of us who are very critical would think them to be. If you bother to read my descriptions, I am very up front with all the issues with each rocket. I point out defects, whether they are minor or major. I do try to avoid negative terminology because it does nothing to enhance the salability and adds nothing to the accuracy of the description.

I have had this discussion many times with this particular collection, as you can imagine. I will finish by saying the same thing I say to everyone. I am not asking exorbitant prices for these rockets because I know what they are. I am not twisting anyone's arm to buy them and am open to all honest offers. I have sold many to folks who are grateful for the chance to get a vintage rocket at a good price which they can then fix up and show off (and not be afraid to fly). If you do not have any interest, that is fine. Please feel free to not buy any of them that you do not consider to be up to your standard of what is acceptable...

Thank you for your time.

I for one have enjoyed perusing this collection on ebay. You really get a sense of a modeller/builder at work. There are many models I know by history and reputation that just don't turn up as actual built/flown examples very often. The Centuri Egg Crate paint scheme is definitely one of a kind.

OMEGA decals . . .

The original fins were stubby, symmetrical, trapezoid-shaped . . .
