Sheryl, is there any chance that the xKits will be for sale at NARAM, even though they are described as being sold online only?

Thanks!

I wondered why we had not sold any clear tubes. The PST-50S, PST-50MJ, and PST-55 are all on the page now!

We are still trying to get CPT-10. You would think someone would have 1.00" ID tubing,

Semroc xKits - what a great idea! I can't wait to hear about the other xKits that will be coming out over time.

It would be cool if the old Estes Omega made it to xKit format at some point. The possabilities are endless.

We have been working on the Omega for a year. We have been flying prototypes. It will have a Cineroc look-a-like capsule with mount for Boostervision camera and laser slotted tubes for perfect no-roll flights. Staging rings are similar to Texas Firefly for venting. It did not make it in time for NARAM. It also is not an xKit because of the massive differences.

We finally got the correct aluminum for hinges on the Nighthawk, but not in time for NARAM. The Vector-V almost made it as well.

I will DEFINITELY be ordering an Omega and Nighthawk when they come out.
I have a vintage Nighthawk kit that I just have not been able to force myself to open.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

Wow you guys sure do stay BUSY and we all sure do benefit from it! The Omega sounds like one heck of a project. It was one of my absolute favorites as a kid. I can't wait to pick a couple up, one to build and one to put away.

THANKS!

Cool! Then I'll be able to get the "full NARAM experience" by building something in my hotel room!

The SEMROC Omega sounds impressive. And if you can't wait, you may be interested to know that InFlight Rocketry recently came out with a more old-school Omega clone:

http://www.inflightrockets.com/inde...ucts&prod_id=24

Hmm... it does appear to be out of stock at the moment, but he'll (pretty sure InFlight is a one-man operation) probably add more soon.

I built the InFlight WASP and found it to be a high-quality clone kit -- sort of a review here (w/ pics):

http://forums.rocketshoppe.com/showthread.php?t=3346

And don't get me wrong. I love SEMROC. I consider them to be the best vendor in the business based on my experience.

As for the xKits, I couldn't resist adding a couple (the V-2 and Constellation) to my latest order (one last Golden Scout and some parts to clone an Astron Sprint).
