Amen to that, although my stash of parts has dwindled a bit...

I'm too lazy to catalog my unbuilt kits right now. Heck, I don't even feel like getting up to take a picture of my built kits. I need a vacation. Maybe I'll catalog them summer and dig up this thread to post it.

Maybe I should show my wife this thread. Along with the 8 or 10 kits, I have 5 or 6 stick & tissue planes to build and about as many plastic models. If she saw what many of you have, maybe she would stop getting om me about my 'problem'.

Phred,

you wouldn't happen to have any spare PNC-50F "droop-nose" style nose cones (from the Estes Starship / Scout Ship Nova or Nimbus) in any of those boxes, would you?

Later,
EV

BTW, it's "conniption".

You only have the "start of a problem".

I have about 50 unbuilt rocket kits, 20 - 25 FF airplane kits, 5 or 6 R/C airplane kits, 70-80 plastic model kits, 3 wooden ship models, and about a dozen or so 54mm figure models.

I have accumulated these over the last 35 years so it's not as bad as it seems (except the rocket kits which were all bought within the last 2 years).

I don't have nearly the "problem" that my brother in law has.

His basement wall looks like a hobby shop and the last time he counted, he had well over 600 unbuilt plastic model kits. That was about 6 months ago and I bet he has added another 100 or so since then. He builds maybe 1 a month and only builds models that he has more than one of.

I feel much better after reading this thread - I've only a dozen unbuilt kits. Of course, I was reborn less than a year ago, so this could be a dangerous trend .

Sean,

it was in an old Model Rocketeer or Model Rocketry, thinking rocketeer..... I actually was looking fo rthe plans a while back and did nto find the right issue, bubt as I recal it was touted as an 'unproduced enerjet' .

will see what I can come up with for info .
