Default Update For Harpoon-AstroBee Fins

Add one more rocket to this list - #1323 Stiletto.

Use the #2 Skywriter nose cone (PNC-50BB, originally from the Black Brant III) and a full 18" length of BT-50.

Default Estes #1377 Hercules - Fins

One file, but two sheets. The Hercules is the only kit I am aware of that uses this set. I have corrected some out-of-register edge line-ups from the original scans. The scans currently posted do not align correctly when building the model, and require quite a bit of edge sanding to get the pieces alike.

Default Any Requests?

Yes, I'm open to suggestions as to fin sheets! I'm monitoring the "Wish List" thread, so post a request to either thread. I'll work on it if I have the scan.

This is getting to be fun!

Default Estes #1984 Phaser - Fins

I'm taking a chance on this one. The outline comes from the kit instruction booklet, and not from a scan of the fin sheet itself. I enlarged the page to 8.5x11 and plotted the fin by hand from the line artwork on page 2. The only way to know is if someone who has a built kit would compare my pattern with what is actually on the model.

As I've said before, even the micro-artwork was accurate in these instructions and just needed to be enlarged to a known size (balsa sheet width). The instructions for the Phaser says to "Lay fins on pattern...", so the outline must have been full-size.
